Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AN illustrated report on drum-handling problems has been published by the National Joint Council on Materials Handling. It is estimated that £5m is added to the cost of the contents of all the 46 imperial gallon capacity drums in the UK by filling and loading alone. The report of a study group of the council sets out the variables requiring consideration in selecting and developing systems to handle, fill, store and mark all common sizes of drums. All the accepted drumhandling solutions are summarized and new developments are described.

Price of the report to members is £2 2s, to non-members £3 3s and it is obtainable from: The Secretaries, National Joint Council on Materials Handling, 3 Dean Trench Street, London, SW1.
