Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

MORE to our taste, in terms of large-scale developments, is this week's news of the BMH-LMC merger. If not exactly inevitable, this move has seemed such an obvious one that its announcement caused no surprise. Although there is some overlapping of models in the commercial field BMC and the Leyland companies have complementary ranges in the main. Further rationalization of these, and the possibilities inherent in mutual research and development and joint service facilities, could bring great gains for operators.

But we hope that it will not mean an end of the type of healthy competition represented by Leyland and Daimler in the heavy p.s.v. field and by the challenge of, for example, Guy in the goods market.
