Sales of light vans (up to 1.8tonnes GVW), middleweight vans (1.8-2.6-tonnes GVW) and 4x4 utility vehicles were all down compared with January 2003. However, this was offset by growth in heavy vans and pickups, vinich enloyed the strongest growth since 1999. Truck registrations were on a par with the robust sales of January 2003. Artic registrations were down almost 20%, but a 9% year-on-year growth in rigids helped keep CV registrations stable,
