Barry Wild has been appointed managing director of the company. Mr. Wild rejoined Harold Wood and Sons in October, 1963 as a director and general manager, coming from Wincanton Transport and Engineering Co. Ltd., with which company he served nearly 10 years, the last six as transport manager, Mr. Wild was previously with Harold Wood and Sons as joint traffic manager from 1950 to 1954. He is chairman of the national bulk liquid haulage groun of the Road Haulage Association.

Mr. R. W. Seed is to become area manager, Eastern area of B.R.S. Parcels Ltd. on the retirement of Mr. A. W. Cheyne on May I. Mr. Seed, who is 43, joined Red Arrow Deliveries Ltd. in 1938, and apart from live years' war service, remained • with this firm until its aquisition by B.R.S. in 1949. In July of that year he was appointed depot superintendent, South Yardley, and subsequently held similar posts at Vauxhall, hall and Walter Street. In June, 1962, he became branch manager at Birmingham.

Mr. G. R. G. Watkins has now relinquished his position as managing director of Pitt 'Trailers Ltd, and joined the parent company, Alexander Stephen and Sons Ltd., at its London office, 37-45 Creechurch Lane, I Leadenhall Street, E.C.3. Mr. J. G. Sparling is now managing director of Pitt Trailers.
