The first two are maintenance brains trust run by the Southampton area on February 24 at the Albany Hotel (starts at 7.30 p.m.), and a talk by the West Midland area mechanical engineer, M.o.T., at the a.g.m, of the South Worcestershire area on February 25; this is at 7.30 p.m. at the Star Hotel, Foregate St., Worcester.
The economics topic is likely to arise at the Central London area meeting on March 11 at Heal's Restaurant, Tottenham Court Road, W.1 (5.30 for 6 p.m.) where the speaker is Dr. M. E. Beesley, London School of Economics, just appointed economics adviser to the Minister of Transport.
