POLICE ARE appealing for witnesses after a trailer full of alcohol worth £140,000 was stolen from Currie European's Irongray Road site in Dumfries at around 5.30pm on Monday 2 December.
A police spokesman said a white tractor unit drove into the yard and connected to the trailer, which was filled mainly with Glen's Vodka.
Anyone who saw the incident or noticed anything suspicious around the site in the days leading up to it should call 101.
