Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

RE "OUR driver killed a cyclist" (CMS December) about the very unfortunate incident of the late David Johnson (driver for ELB Partners). It's clear that in these incidents

lorry drivers, along with train drivers and other victims of people's misjudgments, suffer.

As a transport manager I have witnessed the character changes in drivers involved in fatal accidents. One of my drivers who was involved in a fatal accident would wash the vehicle every

day whether it needed it or not.

I then see Boris Johnson cycling with a dark suit, loose clothing and, OK, a hard hat but no reflective clothing. Surely getting your own house in order is a good place to start. David Cooper Manager Transport Advisory Consultants
