Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

There has been rather wild speculation recently about the accuracy of DVLA records in connection with the congestioi charging scheme. Commercia Motor ran just such a piece recently (CM14-20 Nov), base almost entirely on comments from "motoring groups".

Perhaps loan set the record straight. We have bee enforcing bus lanes at TfL for more than two years now anc can assure you that the accuracy of DVLA data is sufficient for us to find between 85-90% of motorists—far higher than th 75% accuracy rate that has been suggested by your publication, among others.

The perception that DVLA records are inaccurate is out date. The figures have improved dramatically in recent years, precisely because the DVLA has, partly with our help, been targeting wrongly licensed vehicles— particularly in London. They wi improve further when Our cameras start monitoring ever vehicle in the congestion charging zone.

For motorists the messagE is clear: if you think inaccurate records will enable you to avoid paying the congestion charge, think again.
