FEIN. WARNING The licence held by Dennis Parker, trading as Dennis Parker Haulage, of South Shields, has been cut from seven vehicles and two trailers to five vehicles and two trailers. Parker was also given a formal warning in respect of future maintenance standards by the North Eastern DTC Patrick Mulvenna at a Durham disciplinary inquiry.
UCEIME MED A bid for a new licence by Stephen James Weaver & Partners, trading as Ash & Elm Logistics, of Ludlow. has been refused by the West Midland TC David Dixon. The firm appeared at a Birmingham Public Inquiry because of doubts over its financial standing.
MAINTENANCE PROBLEM Denbigh-based Elwyn Lloyd Jones has been disqualified from holding an Operator's Licence for three months after his licence was revoked by the Welsh DTC Roger Seymour. Lloyd Jones was called before the DTO at a Flint disciplinary Inquiry because of concern over his maintenance record.

The company appeared before South Eastern & Metropolitan TC Christopher Heaps at an Eastbourne disciplinary inquiry.
