by Miles Brignall • Prospective truck drivers taking the new theory section of their driving tests will have to answer 21 of the 25 questions correctly to pass, says the Driving Standards Agency.

From 1 January LW/ tests will include a multiple-choice questionnaire similar to that taken by car drivers since the summer. Topics will include drivers' hours limits and the use of tachographs; vehicle

heights and weights; and the driving charac teristics of trucks.

Sample questions are published in a DSA book, The Theory Test for Larger Vehicles; the test fee will be £15.
