• Motorlink, the van-based workshop consumable supplier now has 500 customers on its Consumable Control System, under which it installs a racking system and keeps it stocked to an agreed level with specified parts.
The company reports a shift in its business to medium-sized and large operators. This has offset the effect of a 10% decline in the number of premises served — turnover is only down by 3%.
Motorlink says that some operators have Lai,. ed the cost of consumables and cites the advantages of dealing with a single supplier.
