It aims to reduce its workforce to 1,300 by the end of February — a fall of 496 since the beginning of the year. Volun
teers for redundancy or early retirement will receive "enhanced separation payments", says the company. The 47 salaried jobs are due to go by the end of 1992.
Iveco Ford will produce 6,000 trucks in 1991, compared with 14,000 in 1989.
