THE PROPOSED International Owner-Drivers' Association will hold its first meeting at the Great Eastern Hotel, Liverpool Street, London, on December 30.
This follows a series of meetings held by a steering committee which was formed following an open meeting held in Felixstowe on October 11 under the chairmanship of Mr John Wells, a former RHA national chairman. Mr Wells told CM this week that more than 100 owner-drivers had expressed interest in the association. He emphasised that the December meeting would be open to all interested parties.
