THE value of the training point assessed in relation to grants to be made by the Road Transport Industry Training Board for the period 1974/75 has been announced. Road haulage points will be worth £1.65 and passenger transport points £2.05; this is equal to 35p and 15p more than originally forecast respectively.

For other sectors of the industry, the point will have the following values: Motor vehicle retail and repair, £1.05; furniture removals, £4.85; warehousing, £3.12; vehicle bodybuilding, £2.40; and the initial distribution of key grants points will be worth £1.40.
