Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Full management training status has been given by the RTITB to motor trade management courses for heavy vehicle distributors established by the International Service Training School of the Cummins Engine Co. Ltd. The first course in this series will be held in the spring of next year.

Each course, which will last three days, will cover all aspects of motor trade management. Emphasis will be placed on truck distribution to meet the needs of departmental heads and general managers engaged in the goods vehicle sector of the motor trade. The courses are likely to be of particular benefit to distributors and main dealers handling vehicles with Cummins engines.

The course, among other things, will embrace : setting up a distributorship, personnel selection: distributorship organization and responsibilities of departments; profit planning ; budgeting: shop layout and equipment: project planning: and service sales.

As with all Cummins' courses, Cummins will meet all major expenses—tuition, books, paper and training material—and provide lunch on working days. The student's sponsor is expected to meet the costs of travel to and from Darlington, Co. Durham (the location of the Training School) and hotel accommodation.

Further details can be obtained from Cummins International Service Training School, Darlington. Co. Durham.
