Proving that it's not always the boys that get to have a go behind the wheel, sisters Yasmin and Miranda Jones present a striking image in their face paint at the Seddon Atkinson fun day last month.
And there was plenty of fun to be had at the company's Woodstock plant with charity fund-raising events such as tombolas, bouncy castles, bucking broncos and barfly jumping, although if you are of a mind like the Hawk you will have stuck to the more sedate activities like beer, barbecue and bands.
For those industry anoraks (of whom I count myself one) factory tours were available and Seddon Atkinson also put on a display of historic trucks and vehicles. At the end of the day more than £3,000 had been
raised for two local charities, the Royal Oldham Scanner Appeal and Francis House. Which just goes to prove that having fun is good for you!
