The seven men — who claimed they had been sacked after joining the Transport and General Workers' Union at the height of the year-long dispute at the plant — were asking for an interim order to reinstate them, pending a full industrial tribunal hearing.
Now, they will have to wait until the full hearing before the tribunal of their claim for unfair dismissal for possible reinstatement.
