Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DEVELOPMENTS in grouping have recently been given a stimulus in the West Midlands by the registration of two new companies in the Coventry and in• the Warwick-Leaminglon-Stratford areas. They control over 150 vehicles.

North Warwickshire Independent ;Road Transport, Ltd., is the Coventry company and the 'secretary is Mr. J. W. Richardson, of Messrs. Richardson's Transport, who is also a director. Other directors include Messrs. J. W. Horobin,. T. C. Cross, L. C. Scott. V. J. Pike, F. R. Ward and A. Pearson. More than 50 vehicles are operatedby the group.

South Warwickshire Independent Road Transport, Ltd., is the second company and Mr. W. A. Weatherhead, of Hutchings and Co., Ltd., Stratfordon-Avon, is the secretary and a director. Messrs. P. Brookes, R. E. Newcombe, J. Fisher, G. BrisIey, R. J. W. Pritchard and M. Chalmers are also directors, and the group operates more than 100 vehicles.

In both companies a large increase in the number of shareholders appears probable in the near future.
