Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

VOLVO TRUCKS DEALER MC Truck & Bus finished top of the Swedish manufacturer’s UK dealer network for first-time LGV MoT pass rates, achieving 95.1%.

The dealership, which operates from eight sites on the south coast spanning from Dorset to Essex, received an Aftermarket Excellence award from Volvo UK.

Group director Peter Booth says: “We are thrilled to have earned this accolade. It not only demonstrates the quality of our people, our skills and our facilities but also our commitment to providing an excellent service based around customer care.” To cope with demand, its Southampton and Burgess Hill sites, which operate authorised testing facilities, increased the number of available testing days.

At Burgess Hill, testing has increased from one day to four days a week since it started to test vehicles in 2010. The depot achieved an average first-time pass rate of 99.5%, the highest first-time pass rate in MC Truck & Bus for 2011.

In 2012, its first-time pass rate to date stands at 100%. Burgess Hill depot manager Paul Beach says the demand for MoT preparation and testing carried out is testament to MC’s dedication to getting things right first time for customers.

“We understand the importance of getting an MoT pass first-time in keeping our customers’ vehicles on the road, working and earning,” he adds.

The national average for first-time LGV MoT pass rates in 2011 was 77.7%.
