Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

First to appear, probably at the RAI Show in Amsterdam this October, will be a long-wheelbase version of the Caddy. A 500min stretch will give it an overall length of 4,, letting VW go head to head with the FordTransit Connect LWB and the Fiat DoblO Maxi.

Also expected to debut at RAI is a 4.6-tonne Crafter with 285/65 R16 wide-single tyres on the rear axle.

Look for a facelift of the Transporter in 2009, coinciding with the launch of a range of Euro-5 engines. But the real news for 2009 is expected to be VW's own pickup, with frontal styling resembling the current Crafter.

Having sold the Toyota Hilux rebadged as the Taro, this time VW intends to develop a pickup of its own. It will be built in SouthAfrica and Argentina: a closed version will be made at the company's home plant in Hanover as a true off-road car.
