Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

with radios for direct communication with a control centre — a unique benefit for a private company in the Netherlands.

private communications network throughout the Netherlands. This has enabled Geldnet to fit all its vehicles with radios which communicate direct with a central control centre at Reidswag. The company's competitors have to communicate with their vehicles on a series of different frequencies around the country.

Securicor International's managing director Mike Cross has an influential say in the running of Geldnet, which has extended to the types of services offered. For example, Geldnet has won contracts to collect money from parking meters and new business filling and servicing bank automatic teller machines — both familiar activities for Securicor in the :35() million UK market, but new departures for the much smaller Dutch market.

BANKING SERVICE

As one of the Netherlands largest banks, FIT Post has benefited from the development of Geldnet, enabling it to offer a more complete banking service.

The Securicor group's Dutch company. Securicor Nederlandse, has also prospered from the link.

Geldnet has referred new business, such as staff vetting and alarm requirements, to Securicoes Dutch arm.

Cross says: "This new joint venture is a further important step in the development of Securicor's services in Europe."

Securicor hopes that Geldnet will, in time, provide cross-border security cashin-transit links with similar Securicor companies on the Continent. For example, there is potential for such business between Geldnet and Securicor France.

However, there are currently very strict national operating conditions controlling such services, and little prospect of harmonisation between countries on such issues as the carrying of arms by security staff, required in France, but not the Netherlands.
