• Alan VVestwell, chief executive and managing director of Strathclyde Buses, has moved to a similar post at Greater Manchester Buses.
His task at GMB will include overseeing the company's share in the Metrolink light rail project, as well as coordinating any plans for privatisation of the bus operation.
