The grille might be from a current vehicle, but the square headlamps. squarer overall cab shape and different cab length all point to the fact that ERF's new model — to be announced next week — was getting an unofficial early airing.
The vehicle — powered by a 260kW Cummins engine — was clearly quick, and ran away with a couple of qualifying heats much to the delight of its driver and the builder, Geoff Challoner.
