Essex, Redbridge Spur. Until December 1986 the right-hand lane of the northbound carriagewa■ be closed for a distance of 1.5km (0.9 miles). Moderate delays can be expected at peak times.
• M25
Herts. Between Junction 18 (Bunton Bridge) until August 19M the middle and right-hand lanes will be closed. Both hard shoulders operate as running lanes. Closures cover a distance of 4km (2.5 miles), and are for construction of Junction 19 interchange.
M M3 Hants. At Junction 8 (A303iAndover) the southbound carriageway is closed for a distance of 21km (13 miles) until May 22. Traffic will be diverted at Junction 7 (Basingstoke) onto the A33 and will rejoin the M3 at Barend. Moderate delays likely.
• M63
Greater Manchester. Between Junctions 1 and 3 (Barton Bridge) right-hand lane of the northbound carriageway closed over a distance of 2.6km (1.6 miles). Severe delays expected.
• M5
Hereford and Worcester. At Junction 5 (DroiMich) the northbound entry slip road will be closed until May 24, and the southbound entry slip road until June.
• M50
Hereford and Worcester. From April 24 until May 15 between Junctions 3 and 4 (Newent and Ross) either the north or southbound carriageway will be closed. Moderate delays expected.
• M1
Northants. Junction 16 (Northampton) remains closed with a contraflow scheme operating over a 4.8km (3 miles) distance. All traffic using northbound carriageway.
• The Gallows Corner Flyover at Havering, which !inks the Al2 Eastern Avenue with the A127 Southend Arterial Road, will be closed between 10am and 3pm on the following dates: April 24, June 5, July 17, August 28. October 9, and November 27.
An alternative route, says the Department of Transport, will operate via the ground level roundabout during closures. Delays are expected on the above dates.
