Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SMALL FLEET DISCOUNT • Guardian Royal Exchange, a leading motor insurer, has revamped and upgraded its mini fleet insurance plan. Designed for the smaller business, this plan caters for groups of five to 20 vehicles and allows a discount of up to 75 per cent. A mix of vehicles such as commercials, cars and even agricultural tractors, is acceptable.

A telling factor is that the discount will not necessarily be affected by isolated claims. This cuts out those risks with consistently adverse claims records. Carriers of hazardous loads are also "out".

In most cases a "blanket" insurance certificate is issued covering each class of vehicle proposed. If any subsequent changes occur, such as a new vehicle, being added, the GRE only need informing on a quarterly basis, thus lowering handling costs. Hired or borrowed vehicles of the type already being insured are automatically covered.

Additional vehicles with no previous insurance history may be added to the mini fleet at any time and immediately enjoy the benefit of the fleet discount that is currently being earned.

There is also cover for medical expenses of up to £200 for the driver arising out of an accident involving a vehicle covered. In addition, £100 worth of personal effects being carried in any of the vehicles is also included. For cars, personal accident death cover applies for £5,000 and the cover includes replacing with a new car any insured car up to one year old if the repair costs after an accident are over half the value of the car or if it is stolen and not found in 28 days.
