Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Toleman Group this week completes the installation of a computer based fuel issuing system at all 17 of its transport depots.

The installation, which has taken six months to complete, will give Toleman improved control of its fuel supplies. Each depot's fuel supply will be linked to a central computer by phone line, so that the company can keep day-to-day records of fuel usage.

Tolman says the system will help the company monitor where its fuel is being used and provide savings by enabling the company to buy fuel in volume for the company as a whole.

A key provided for each vehicle in the fleet will allow access to the fuel issuing equipment.

Toleman bought the equipment from Timeplan Systems. No figure is available for the cost of the installation.
