• The Ministry of Technology has asked road transport associations for an estimate of the number of vehicles and containeft engaged in the international carriage of perishable food. The information is needed before building a thermal testing station where the necessary inspections can be carried out under the 1962 agreement on the carriage of perishable foodstuffs which will shortly be ratified by the UK.
