Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

This is Mr. A. P. Horn.

He is Transport Director of Progressive Deliveries Holdings Ltd., and that is the largest independent car delivery company in the country. One of the essentials of his job is to keep tyre costs down. Not easy, Not with a fleet of 170 articulated transporters and trailers.

But Mr. Horn says he does.

By using Michelin Giant X radial tyres. Progressive Deliveries began experimenting with Michelin Giant X tyres about 10 years ago. The company verdict then was that Giant X outlasted and ran more efficiently than any other tried tyre.

According to Mr. Horn that verdict still stands: "Through a process of elimination we've found Giant X the most suitable tyre for our needs. We can count on an average 90-100,000 miles from X's on articulated transporters carrying five, six or nine cars, and about 80,000 miles on trailers with seven to nine cars up. They're a sight more reliable than other tyres, too.

That's Mr. Horn. That's Progressive Deliveries. But the same Giant X ability to give greater mileage and greater efficiency can apply to any company's commercial vehicles (as can the same X advantages apply to any company's fleet of cars), If you would like to know more about the Michelin X range of commercial vehicle tyres, please write to : Technical Information Dept., Michelin Tyre Co. Ltd., 160 Brompton Rd., London S W.3. (No obligation, of course).
