While the future of ERF trucks is now inextricably linked under the banner of MAN ERF with the German manufacturer, its former finance arm is still very much independent.
Trucks financed before the merger with MAN through ERF Finance and coming to the end of their lease and contract hire dates are being sold through the old ERF used vehicle arm ERF Encore.
Some 2,000 ERF vehicles currently owned by the finance company will be sold through this network with several dealers adding support.The website (www.erfencore.com) will cater for two-to-three year old products currently out on the road.
The majority of the trucks are tractors and ERF Finance will continue to offer financial packages for the trucks coming back from their first owner. Each vehicle has benefited from an ERF manufacturer repair and maintenance deal.
