The Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) (Amendment) (No.3) Regulations 2003, CIF 1 September These amendment regulations will enable enforcing authorities to enforce speed limiter requirements for motor vehicles visiting GB from elsewhere in the EU.
The Transport Act 1968 (Commencement No. 11) Order 2003, CIF 1 September This brings into force fully the powers of enforcement officers in relation to the inspection of drivers' hours records and recording equipment, contained in the 1968 Act.
The Road Vehicles (Authorisation of Special Types) (General) Order 2003, CIF 25 August These regulations revoke and replace the existing rules for the movement of vehicles that cannot comply with Construction & Use requirements (eg abnormal loads etc).
The Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Amendment) (No. 4) Regulations 2003, CIF 1 September These amendments increase theory test fees to £20.50 and theory test pass certificates to £10; include the test requirement to demonstrate and describe safety checks: and introduces revised parking exercises.
