CONGRATULATIONS ON the new-format Conmtercial Motor -particularly the Mystery Shopper article in last week's edition (CM 11 September), which made very interesting reading.
Full marks to our dealer salesman in Kent on product knowledge. Despite what you report, a 180bhp variant of the D-Line is not yet available even on the D90 (but watch this space!). albeit six-speed and automatic gearboxes are available as 'build to order' options. As for the D75T urban artic, this was good lateral thinking on his part it is legal to drive an urban artic with GCW up to 8250kg on a pre-1997 car licence. There is a link on our D75T product webpage to the relevant DVLA website page giving full details.
Finally.I encourage our dealer salesmen to spend as much time as possible out on the road rather than sitting behind a desk waiting for the phone to ring."You don't do business sitting on your backside," as the saying goes!
