• Coachwork Conversions Ltd has entered the insulated van field with a vehicle primarily designed to meet the requirements of foodstuffs distributors. This new insulation /cooler package was developed in conjunction with ICI's agricultural division and incorporates Purlboard insulation, Purldek flooring and the recently introduced Drikoldvan cooler unit—all ICI products.

A thermostat with pre-setting facility maintains the loadspace temperature between 35 and 50deg F (2-10deg C) irrespective of the ambient temperature while permitting 60 door openings per day.

Built. on Coachwork Conversions Cost Cutter standardization principles, the Coo!oak is on display at Earls Court in a Hertz-liveried Commer KC 25 Maxivan. In conjunction with Ford, a Coolpak is currently being developed in a Transit 35cvvt box van and similar versions on Bedford CF, BMC 250 R1 and Commer 2500 vehicles are planned.
