The aims of the course are to help both recently appointed and established psv inspectors to increase their understanding of an inspector's position in modern transport management, the problems of other specialists and to assist them in the management and organizing of staff.

These courses have been planned by traffic managers, and college staff in conjunction with the RTITB.
