• As Fodens Ltd announced that its offer for Atkinson Lorries had lapsed last Friday, an increased bid from ERF (Holdings) was agreed by the Atkinson board. ERF added a Is a share in cash to its earlier offer of one Ordinary for every two Atkinson shares.
