Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Say Foden and 18-tonne rigids don't immediately come to mind, but here we have one of the soundest drivelines offered by any truck manufacturer. Engine, transmission and back axle are all proprietary components: Cummins, Eaton and Mentor are each specialists in their areas. The cab is made within the Paccar group by Daf but the appearance of the Foden version is sufficiently different enough to have established a separate identity. For some applications some operators would prefer a smaller cab but here the cab, from the heavier weight range, sits well on Foden's lightweight hightensile steel chassis. Drivers like the comfort and living space, especially in the Sleeper version, while operators are generally comfortable with the vehicle's cost payload and fuel consumption. The Alpha 2000 is assembled at the Leyland truck plant, which ensures conformity of build quality with Daf products. It has some minor faults (the stop/start relay is one) which can become annoying, but the operators we spoke to were all prepared to consider buying another—if the price of the complete package was right.
