• Panic Link managing director Eric Norman has appeared this week before Coalville Magistrates Court, charged with causing death by reckless driving. Norman, who was also charged with failing to stop at the accident and with attempting to pervert the course of justice, was granted conditional bail of £50,000. The case was adjourned until 27 November, when it is expected to go to Crown Court.
