Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

J11 Swindon.

AYour vehicle is legal if it is fitted with a tail-lift that complies with Regulation 49(2)(A) of the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986, which say the regulation for under-run does not apply to "a vehicle fitted with a tail-lift so constructed that the lift platform forms part of the floor of the vehicle and this part has a length of at least lm measured parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle". If you are in doubt run it down to the local testing station and if it does not conform, go back to the dealer.
