• Watts Group is putting its Oxfordshire MAN dealership on the market because it does not fit well into the group's portfolio, according to group managing director John Thurston. The Oxfordshire dealership at Witney, is the smallest of the Group's three dealerships.
Thurston says he expects the business to be bought by a sole proprietor and admits that the slowdown in the truck market has made the group think hard about its dealerships.
Watts deals in ERF and VW vans at its Newport site and in Leyland Daf vans at Watts Truck in Gloucester.
