Tax discs • New style vehicle excise duty (tax) discs are to appear next month. Any operator or motorist applying for a 12month vehicle excise duty disc in November will get the new version.
Says junior transport minister Michael Spicer: "Although not radically different at first sight, the new design of tax disc includes several extra security features which make it difficult to forge, copy or alter details."
