Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ON READING the results of your livery competition (CM, September 6) I was rather appalled by the ignorance of the team of judges or judge, who made the comment that a "beehive type" logo seemed to bear no real relation to the company's business — servicing radiators."

I am not an employee of Serck Radiators but am aware that they have been in the motor industry for over forty years and started when radiators consisted of a honeycomb row of tubes with air passing through and water passing around them.

So possibly "beehive-type" and honeycomb could be linked in some way. We must forgive this panel, they have been probably brought up in a plastic era. LEONARD L. HERRIDGE, Bexhill-on-Sea Sussex
