Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

OVER the next five months the City of London Police will be converting up to 60 of their vehicles — ranging from BMW 525 motor cars to Ford Transit vans — to run on liquefied petroleum gas.

After evaluating different equipment for a four-and-a-half month period, a contract has been awarded to Motogas Ltd, Edinburgh, for the supply of conversion kits which will be installed in the Police's own workshops. Conversion to lpg, which is currently retailing at E1 a gallon, is expected to reduce running and maintenance costs.

The kits are said to sell for about £200 each and conform to C and U Regulations.
