A fluorescent lamp for vehicle inspection work is now available from Hume Atkins. It is shockproof, watertight and oil resistant and has a built-in aluminium reflector to reduce glare.
The lamp is available for 24V, 110y, 220V and 240V, AC mains supply and as standard it has 7m (23 ft) of oil-resistant cable and a 13A plug. Overall lamp length is 550 mm. Made by: Hume Atkins (Lighting) Ltd, Carolyn House, Dingwall Road, Croydon CRO 2NA.
