time to time it is neceesary for one of my drivers to travel to another depot to bring back a vehicle. Is it in order for this driver to travel to the depot in the vehicle which is being used under my trade licence?

A The purposes for which a vehicle may be used under a trade licence are contained in the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Regulations 1971. Regu lation 40 deals with the carriage of passengers and sub-section (1) provided that an employee of the holder of the trade licence: may be carried in proceeding to a place for the purpose of driving vehicles on behalf of the holder in the course of his business as a motor trader.
