Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

CHANGES are to be made to production versions of Alexander's S-type midibus, which made its appearance at the Earls Court show. The integral vehicle shown used Ford A-series running units, although other makes are possible.

Changes will include a new look to the front end which met with criticisms at the Show from some operators. Alexander has announced that it is near to reaching agreement with General Motors for the supply of Allison AT650 automatic transmissions to mate to the Ford power units. Many operators have indicated that they would consider ordering the vehicle if it were not fitted with a clutch and gearbox.
