A NET profit of £72,000 was recorded by Chrysler (UK) Ltd during the first six months of this year on external sales amounting to L165,695,000 for the group.
Because of a shortage of components the production of commercial vehicles fell compared with 1973, although the company states that demand for Chrysler vehicles increased, partly owing to the introduction of the Commando range of medium trucks.
