Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The research laboratories of the Albright and Wilson Group have developed a paint with the aim of speeding up vehicle painting. As a universal sealer coat it can be applied on any existing finish before repainting. For universal application it can be applied direct to steel or aluminium, glass-reinforced plastics or wood, given that a suitable first coat is used. Additionally it can be employed as a sandwich coat, for example between a syntheticresin-based paint and a cellulosebased paint.

The paint is claimed to be highly resistant to corrosion by water, petrol, oil and alkalis. For short-term protection a single coat can be successfully used. Marketed by: Detel Paints Ltd. and Bryce Weir Ltd., Stonefield Way, South Ruislip, Middlesex.
