Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

From Laycock comes a commercial-vehicle brake-tester which enables operators to check whether vehicle brakes are up to the standard required by the MoT and also to reproduce and identify faults occurring under operating conditions.

The brake-tester rollers are driven at a slow speed by electric motors through a reduction gear. The brake force from each wheel on the axle is measured separately on two gauges and a brake pedal load meter correlates the braking force with the braking effort. Braking efficiency is determined by using the meters in conjunction with a calculator.
