Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I must say Sir Donald Stokes is pulling no punches in putting the plain facts about British Leyland's competitive position to the employees. For example, in a special issue of the Pressed Steel Fisher works newspaper he warns that if British industry fails, through poor quality or dislocation of supplies, to deliver the goods to the customer, then the British motor industry could suffer the fate of the Lancashire cotton industry which was destroyed by a flood of foreign imports. He points out that there are now 195,000 people in BLMC but adds: "You may think British Leyland is a big company, but may I remind you it is only one-tenth the size of General Motors. We are David fighting Goliath . . ."
