Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The " Verdun " Chassis, 15.9 h.p. Cab.

STAND No. 28.

1.113E 30 cwt. Verdun chassis on this L stand is a nice example of Conti:Ida] design. Of fairly light construe= throughout, it appears particularly ritable for mounting on -the pneumatic Tes with which it is fitted. A rather iusual type of cylindrical gearbox and special form of back axle are features Lich distinguish it from orthodox prac

?.e. The enclosed clutch withdrawal :ar is well arranged, and the engine dep. is clean. There is a very useful filter mounted accessibly on the dash

board under the bonnet. •The special van body mounted on this chassis makes a useful-looking, fast, freieht-carrying vehicle.

On this stand is also to be seen a complete taxicab, one of the few examples in the Show. It is interesting to note that the first Vinot cab is still running in London after 12 years' continuous service, which testifies to the durability of its construction.

The vehicle shown is very well finished, and has every appearance of maintaining the high standard -which is now expected from the productions of this concern.

It is interesting to note that the Verdun chassis derives its name from the fact that, during the war, a large quantity of similar machines were supplied to the French Government, in which service they obtained a great reputation.
