Perhaps the most interesting to the average. person is the immense pantechnicon. This has a capacity of from two to three times that of the ordinary pantechnicon lift van. It is carried on s special dropframed trailer, which permits a very low loading line. The body is 27 ft. long, 7 ft. 6 ins, wide and 7 ft. high, the loading and unloading being carried out through large double doors awthe, side, although provision is also made for this by double doors and a tailboard at the rear. This vehicle has been designed for Maple and Co., and will be used for the transporting of new furniture. It will be loaded and unloaded by a number of
smaller vehicle acting as tenders. A novelty on the chassis is the provision of. twin roller chains and sprockets, which are said give. abselutely quiet running !

Antitber interesting exhibit is the Cleveland Towmotor, which has already been described bylfis, and which will be need for doelt.worit in moving the Scammelt trailers; the latter will be provided with supplementary front axles and wheels for this purpose.
